Democratic gubernatorial candidate Diane Denish raised almost $300,000 in the last month, according to the finance report she filed today with the Secretary of State’s Office.
Denish raised $295,198.15, spent $183,942.14 and ended the reporting period with more than $2.7 million on hand.
“There’s a reason why so many New Mexicans are excited about Diane and are making contributions to her campaign,” Denish Chairman Ted F. Martinez said in a news release. “When families turn on their TVs, they see the Republican candidates for Governor running on platitudes, sound bytes and empty promises. New Mexicans are asking ‘where’s the beef?’”
“New Mexico families are ready for a different kind of Governor – someone who’s a straight shooter and truly understands their concerns – and that’s Diane,” he said.
To date, Denish has raised almost $4.3 million for her campaign.
