There’s a public forum tonight for candidates running in the first municipal election in the newly incorporated Anthony, N.M.
The town’s first election will be held Tuesday.
The forum will be held from 6-9 p.m., with an hour-long meet and greet starting at 5 p.m. The event is at St. Anthony’s Center, located at 424 Lincoln Street in Anthony.
The forum is sponsored by NM Communities in Faith & Action, an affiliate of the PICO National Network.
Anthony residents voted to incorporate earlier this year. Polls will be open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Click here for more information from Doña Ana County’s Web site.
