The special session of the Legislature that convenes Saturday will be webcast, John Yaeger, assistant director for Legislative Council Services, confirmed.

In accordance with resolutions passed by each chamber earlier this year, audio will be webcast from the House floor. Audio and video – from one camera at the back of the chamber – will be webcast from the Senate floor.

You can find the webcasts on the Legislature’s Web site. There you’ll also find other information, including the times that sessions are scheduled to start each day. (Sessions start notoriously later than scheduled most days, just so you know.)

Yaeger said there are no plans at this point to webcast committee meetings.

The session begins Saturday at noon.
