The majority of those who voted in last week’s non-scientific poll on this site said Bob Cornelius would make the best state land commissioner out of the declared Republican candidates for the position.
Of 231 voters, 120, or 52 percent, picked Cornelius, while 53, or 23 percent, picked Errol Chavez. Some 58, or 25 percent, said they don’t know.
