It’s taken two years, but the long-promised redesign of Heath Haussamen on New Mexico Politics, which I now more commonly call NMPolitics.net, is here.
There are some big changes from the last incarnation of this site. There’s now a slot for a top story. And commentaries have been given their own column, on the right side of the page, that is separate from the middle column, which is now devoted entirely to news and analysis.
Overall, my goal with this overhaul was to retain the traditional look and feel of the site while moving it from a blog format to a layout more like that of an actual news site.
While you’re here, don’t forget to bookmark the new site or make it your home page. If you need help, click here.
If you want to submit comments in response to articles that appear on this new site, you’ll need to register. Click here to do that. If you want to register later, there’s a link in the top right corner of the page, next to the link that allows you to log in and out every time you visit the site.
Take a minute to check out the site. I hope you like what you see. As always, you can e-mail your thoughts or questions to me at heath@haussamen.com.
Please bear with me in the next few days as I continue to tweak this new site. Your suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for being a part of NMPolitics.net.
