Voters in poll say Cote will win re-election

The majority of those who voted in last week’s non-scientific poll on this site said state Rep. Nate Cote, D-Organ, will be re-elected.

Of 241 voters, 138, or 57 percent, said Cote will win the District 53 race, while 103, or 43 percent, said his Republican challenger, Stanford Locke, will win.
