No more seats available for McCain event

There are no more seats available for next week’s town-hall meeting in Albuquerque with Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

As previously reported, McCain will be in Albuquerque on Tuesday for the 10 a.m. meeting at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town. The day before, he’ll hold an evening fundraiser in Albuquerque.

McCain spokeswoman Whitney Cheshire said a few hundred seats were made available on Monday for next week’s town-hall meeting, but “they’ve all been snatched up.” Only people who have made reservations will be allowed to attend the meeting.
