Martin Heinrich was one of the top 10 fundraisers through the liberal Web site ActBlue during the second quarter of the year that ended Monday.
The Democratic 1st Congressional District candidate raised $147,564.20 from April 1 to June 30 through the Web site, according to an ActBlue blog posting. That ranked him eighth among fundraisers through the site, behind four Democratic U.S. Senate candidates and three Democratic House candidates, but ahead of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, who raised $131,367.23 through ActBlue during the quarter.
Heinrich and other federal candidates are expected to announce fundraising totals for the second quarter in the coming days. Reports are due to the Federal Election Commission by June 15.
Heinrich made a successful online fundraising push at the end of the quarter. According to the ActBlue blog posting, he ranked fourth in ActBlue fundraising on June 30, raising $31,400.52 on that day. That represents 21 percent of his total ActBlue contributions during the quarter.
