Republican 2nd Congressional District candidate C. Earl Greer is running six different radio ads to try to get the attention of voters in a crowded GOP primary.
The most interesting, called “Café,” takes shots at all the other Republican candidates.
“I’m really confused about this congressional race,” says one of two women in a mock scenario at a café. “… We have one guy who raises taxes but says he doesn’t. We have two guys who changed political parties just to run for Congress, and one of them gave money to Bill Richardson. There’s another candidate, we don’t even know if he lives in the district.”
“And you forgot about the special interest groups trying to buy the candidates and the election,” the other woman says.
“That’s why I’m confused. What’s a voter to do?” the first woman asks.
“Well, I’m voting for Earl Greer. We know where he lives. He’s a true conservative. He’s professional. He’ll be a great congressman,” the other woman replies.

“We’re very proud of our spots, which combine state-of-the-art recording and editing techniques and use the best equipment available,” Greer said in a news release. “Added to that are clear messages to give the listener some information that they can really use to make an informed decision and that is fun to listen to.”
