Suspicious building project situation examined

The Albuquerque Journal ran an interesting package on Sunday about two men who the state Transportation Department says weren’t involved with its project to build a new headquarters flying with DOT officials to Texas for meetings on the project.

They flew free of charge. One of them has since been indicted in the Bernalillo County Metro Court scandal and the other was, for a time, romantically involved with the DOT secretary.
