Richardson says N.H. is his ‘breakthrough state’

Gov. Bill Richardson will focus more time, staff and other resources in New Hampshire than any other early primary or caucus state, he told the New Hampshire Union Leader during today’s visit to the state.

Richardson also said he will participate in an April 5 television debate sponsored by CNN and the newspaper.

The governor told the newspaper he must do well in Nevada because he is a westerner, but, “for me, New Hampshire is going to be my main state to concentrate on, staff-wise, resources. I consider this a breakthrough state for me.”
