A fund has been set up to help offset medical costs incurred by Paige McKenzie, the spokeswoman for Republican gubernatorial candidate John Dendahl who was brutally attacked last week.
Meanwhile, police revealed this weekend that McKenzie did not recognize her attacker, but could provide a description.
McKenzie had surgery over the weekend and remains in the hospital.

Bernalillo police describe the attacker as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 175 to 180 pounds, in his mid- to late-20s, without facial hair. He was wearing a light-colored shirt, dark-colored pants and white shoes.
