Public memorial for Cano-Garcia to be held Friday

A public memorial service will be held Friday for District Judge Silva Cano-Garcia, who died Monday after a long battle with cancer.

The service will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 225 W. Griggs Ave. in Las Cruces. This will be the only service. Cremation has already taken place.
