Poll voters optimistic about spaceport

The majority of those who voted in last week’s poll are optimistic about the creation of Spaceport America, the newly renamed facility being constructed at Upham.

Of 94 voters, 59, or 63 percent, said the spaceport will benefit the state and its residents. 31, or 33 percent, said it will not, and four voters, or 4 percent, said they don’t know.
