The Republicans, at today’s Central Committee Meeting in Albuquerque, accepted J.R. Damron’s resignation as the party’s nomination to take on Bill Richardson in November, and replaced him with John Dendahl, a conservative syndicated columnist and former party chair.
Damron had trouble raising money. The change means we have a more interesting race, though Dendahl will have a hard time catching up with Richardson, both in fundraising and votes.
