Baca on the ropes, Republicans too close to call in PRC race

In the PRC District 5 race, Democrat incumbent E. Shirley Baca is in danger of losing.

Challenger Sandy Jones currently has 1,649 votes, which amounts to 59.3 percent. Baca has 1,132 votes, or 40.7 percent.

On the Republican side, C. Earl Greer is leading with 752 votes, or 40.4 percent. D. Kent Evans has 668 votes, or 35.9 percent, and Doyle Pruitt has 442 votes, or 23.7 percent.
