John and Judith Madrid of Belen know that nothing can bring back their 18-year-old son, Jonathan, who died last year from a head injury after falling off a bike. They hope Jonathan’s death will prompt state legislators to approve a bill to require CPR training as part of health classes for seventh- and ninth-graders. The Madrids were at the Capitol on Friday to support a CPR bill by Senate Majority Leader Michael Sanchez, D-Belen.
