A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that the Washington, D.C.-based Solar Foundation had endorsed House Bill 199. In a previous story about the bill, the president of the foundation recently told The Santa Fe New Mexican that that consumer protection is very important. But the foundation does not endorse individual pieces of legislation, a spokesman said Wednesday.
