Trump to hold rally in Albuquerque on Tuesday

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, will hold a campaign rally in Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Trump is the second presidential candidate to announce that he will attend a public rally in New Mexico ahead of the state’s June 7 primary. His rally will come days after Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders makes a campaign swing through New Mexico on Friday and Saturday.

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, is scheduled to campaign in Española on Tuesday, the day Trump is in Albuquerque. Clinton is scheduled to hold a rally in Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Times and locations for Bill Clinton’s rallies have not been announced.

Trump’s rally, according to his campaign website, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Albuquerque Convention Center, 401 2nd Street NW in Albuquerque.

There are several other GOP presidential candidates on New Mexico’s primary ballot, but they’ve all dropped out of the race.
