The candidates on the ballot for the Nov. 3 election are Ken Miyagishima, the incumbent; Miguel Silva, who is vacating his city council seat to run for mayor; and business owner Gina Montoya-Ortega.

The forum will be held at Nopalito’s Galeria, 326 S. Mesquite St., from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8. It will be filmed, and organizers say NMPolitics.net will be able to run video of the entire forum once it’s available.

Audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates during the forum, according to the news release.

The event is sponsored by SWOP Action Fund Doña Ana, Nopalito’s Galeria, and PRC productions, which is filming the event.
