Cruces mayoral candidates debate this evening

The candidates for Las Cruces mayor will participate in a televised debate this evening. You can watch the debate on NMPolitics.net and participate in a liveblog.

I’ll be on the panel asking questions of the mayoral candidates during the debate, which is sponsored by the Las Cruces Sun-News and KFOX TV. Doña Ana County Commissioner Scott Krahling, former Commissioner Bill McCamley, and former Sun-News city reporter Christopher Schurtz will be running NMPolitics.net’s liveblog.

Anyone is welcome to participate in the liveblog discussion along with Krahling, McCamley and Schurtz.

The election is Nov. 8. Early voting is underway.

The debate will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. this evening in the commission chambers at the Doña Ana County Government Center, located at 845 N. Motel Blvd. in Las Cruces. It is open to the public. If you can’t attend, you can watch it on television on RTV channel 14.2 or Comcast channel 207, or on the Internet at NMPolitics.net, lcsun-news.com, or kfoxtv.com.
