Republican gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez’s new TV ad features the family of Carly Martinez, a New Mexico State University student who was kidnapped, raped and murdered in 1998.

The ad is airing statewide on broadcast and cable stations, according to a news release from the campaign.
FYI, Susana Martinez and Carly Martinez aren’t related.
