Results from Doña Ana County will be delayed

A problem with a rental truck means results from southern Doña Ana County won’t be tallied for quite awhile.

County spokesman Jess Williams said ballots from all precincts in Anthony and south of there were taken to a location in Anthony to be loaded onto the truck to be driven to Las Cruces. The county is now sending another truck to Anthony to retrieve the ballots.

That will delay final results from the county for some time, Williams said.
